Job Description
Our client is seeking a Business Program Manager to join their unique environment that combines research and technology innovation. As the Business Program Manager, you will work closely with lab leaders to drive operational excellence by refining and executing key business rhythms, policies, and practices.
The ideal candidate will have a deep focus on Recruiting and Procurement, with experience in managing cross-departmental relationships within a large-scale organization. They will also have a strong understanding of the Montreal business ecosystem and the ability to navigate complexities of large-scale, matrixed organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confer with lab leadership to create project plans within resource management and compliance programs.
- Manage Recruiting and Procurement processes, ensuring positive employee experience.
- Support project-based requests and participate in special projects with Research labs in New England and New York City.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or related field, and 6+ years of work experience in program/project management, process management, Operations, Finance, or related fields.
- Business-level fluency in French and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMI or PMP certification.
- Demonstrated agility in navigating complexities of large-scale, matrixed organizations.
- Work or educational experience in an academic environment.
- Ability to establish rapport quickly and persuade multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work under ambiguity without local supervision.
