Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement efficient kitchen workflows to meet production schedules
- Source and manage kitchen supplies and inventory
- Lead and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, presentation, and safety procedures
- Train staff on new recipes, menu items, and kitchen procedures
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service
- Prepare and manage kitchen budgets and cost estimates
- Maintain accurate records of kitchen operations, including stock levels, repairs, and sales
- Prepare and submit regular reports on kitchen performance
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
- Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and culinary genres
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week
