The Shift Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales and profitability while ensuring excellent guest service and effective team management. Reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager (RGM), the Shift Manager oversees daily operations during assigned shifts, focusing on key performance indicators related to sales, guest satisfaction, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

PROFITABILITY

  • Adheres to all cash handling and security protocols, including safe counting and cash drawer management.
  • Conducts daily and weekly inventory assessments to maintain stock levels.
  • Receives and verifies inventory deliveries.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

  • Inspires and guides Team Members to deliver exceptional service that exceeds guest expectations in a clean and welcoming environment.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

  • Provides constructive feedback and coaching to enhance the skills and performance of Team Members.

OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

  • Leads by example, diligently executing the shift plan and achieving operational objectives.
  • Ensures efficient and accurate product preparation and timely service in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Encourages Team Members throughout their shifts across various workstations.
  • Analyzes restaurant performance to identify strengths and areas for growth.
  • Guarantees adherence to operational and brand standards throughout the restaurant.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment, a solid understanding of guest service principles, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility to work long or irregular shifts is essential for the restaurant's success.
