About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites Kelowna Airport. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Staff
    • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of hotel rooms and public areas.
    • Supervise staff to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Inspect and Maintain Hotel Rooms and Public Areas
    • Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies
    • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure we have the necessary resources to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.
    • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain our inventory levels.
  • Respond to Guest Complaints
    • Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints related to cleanliness and maintenance.
    • Work with guests to resolve any issues or concerns related to cleanliness and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
