Position Overview

As a Glazier at Abby Glass Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the installation and repair of glass products in various settings. Your expertise will contribute to both residential and industrial projects, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Assessment: Identify the appropriate type of glass, frames, and materials needed for each project.
  • Measurement and Cutting: Accurately measure, mark, and cut glass to meet specific requirements.
  • Installation: Position and secure glass panes within frames, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
  • Assembly: Assemble and install prefabricated glass products, mirrors, and other glass structures.
  • Hardware Installation: Install doors, windows, and various hardware components as needed.
  • Repair Work: Conduct repairs on glass doors and other glass installations to maintain functionality and appearance.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment for safe and efficient work.
Work Environment

This position requires a physically demanding work environment, often involving on-site customer service in both residential and industrial locations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
