We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health and Addictions Supervisor to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supervision to our mental health and addictions team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the mental health and addictions team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective management of mental health and addictions services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and addiction assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Supervise and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Master's degree in an allied health discipline and current practicing registration with the applicable professional college.
- Three years' recent experience in a mental health and addictions setting, including working with mentally disordered offenders, forensic psychiatric, or tertiary mental health/concurrently disordered populations.
- Two years' related administrative/supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid BC driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for local area travel may be required.
