Purchasing Agent

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our team at Cozy Corner Bedding Inc. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Purchase Order Management: Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased, and review quotations from suppliers to ensure the best value for our company.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary materials and equipment to meet our production needs.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on purchasing activities, including spend analysis and supplier performance metrics.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
