About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Valve Assembler to join our team at Emerson. As an integral part of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operation in a cross-functional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and build manifolds, valves, and related products to meet quality and production standards.
- Follow established work instructions and procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate product test equipment and power tools, including drills, impact guns, and manual hand tools.
- Prepare name plates, labels, and print I&M sheets as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent post-secondary education required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on assembly and production.
