The Role

We are seeking experienced Talent Acquisition Specialists to join our team in the Cambridge & Woodstock region, supporting our flagship client in the automotive industry.

This is a high-touch recruitment role, requiring 4-10 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment delivery, with a focus on hiring for technical roles within engineering and automotive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining trusted partner relationships with senior hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Leading discussion on attraction strategies, working with hiring managers to identify the best approach based on market and hiring demands.
  • Collaborating with sourcing teams to narrow down high-quality candidates and jointly reviewing the shortlist with hiring managers.
  • Delivering excellent candidate experience, managing candidate satisfaction from initial interview to start date.
  • Supporting hiring managers with hiring decisions and guiding them in determining an appropriate offer.
  • Anticipating potential stakeholder issues and taking action to address them.
  • Building proactive pipelining strategies and sharing insights with hiring managers to support strategic decision-making.
Key Accountabilities

Client Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Create and maintain trusted partner relationships with senior hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Lead discussion on attraction strategies, working with hiring managers to identify the best approach based on market and hiring demands.

Recruitment Delivery:

  • Take full ownership to ensure the recruitment service is delivered in line with contractual obligations and client service level agreements.
  • Lead vacancy consultation discussions to agree the recruitment plans with hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with sourcing teams to narrow down high-quality candidates and jointly review the shortlist with hiring managers.
  • Deliver excellent candidate experience, managing candidate satisfaction from initial interview to start date.
  • Support hiring managers with hiring decisions and guide them in determining an appropriate offer.
  • Anticipate potential stakeholder issues and take action to address them.
  • Build proactive pipelining strategies and share insights with hiring managers to support strategic decision-making.
Skills & Experience

We are looking for individuals with:

  • 4-10 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment delivery, with a focus on hiring for technical roles within engineering and automotive.
  • Experience hiring for niche positions requiring proactive sourcing.
  • Understanding of attraction strategies and candidate sourcing strategies.
  • Experience using recruitment technology.
  • Experience working within a highly complex or matrixed organization.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Experience using databases.
