Cowan Insurance Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive our recruitment efforts and attract top talent. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective sourcing strategies to meet our business needs.

About the Role:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our business and external market trends to inform recruitment strategies
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop effective recruiting plans
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit with our organization's culture and values
  • Increase our employment brand by participating in campus recruitment strategy, including attending career fairs and developing relationships with key university stakeholders
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience and an efficient hiring process
  • Utilize data and analytics to track recruitment metrics and provide insights to the business on recruitment trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with other members of the HR team on various initiatives, including diversity and inclusion, employer branding, and onboarding
