Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotisserie Department Manager to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and merchandising of our Pane Fresco Rotisserie products, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales and profit growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide courteous and timely customer service to maintain our reputation for friendly and effective service.
  • Product Management: Order and oversee the production and merchandising of Pane Fresco Rotisserie products, adhering to Fortino's Health Code.
  • Department Operations: Organize and set up the department, maintain inventory levels, and ensure proper signage is displayed.
  • Staff Management: Schedule, direct, and supervise staff to secure department efficiencies, interview and select new hires, and train new employees.
  • Sales and Profit Growth: Maximize sales and gross profit, ensuring sales goals and budgets are met.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Safety: Ensure the maintenance of equipment and the safety and sanitation of the department, adhering to Company Policy.
  • Customer Relations: Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the hot foods industry, with a minimum of 3 years' management experience in either a restaurant or fast food operation.
  • Education: Post-secondary education in culinary preparation, such as line cooking procedures, is a definite asset.
  • Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, flexibility to work a variety of hours, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
