Partnership: Igility/Health Association Nova Scotia collaborates with the Department of Seniors and Long-term Care to assist in the recruitment of skilled personnel for facilities throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with essential personal care tasks (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Perform light cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Assist clients with meal preparation and refreshments.
- Provide respite care for families and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate documentation (e.g., client concerns, progress notes, incident reports).
- Engage residents and families in recreational and leisure activities.
Essential Qualifications:
- Certification as a Continuing Care Assistant from the provincial authority.
- Individuals with relevant education or experience who are enrolled or eligible for the CCA RPL Program.
- Students in nursing or CCA programs, as well as internationally educated nurses, are encouraged to apply.
