Position Summary:

The Service Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the guest service team to uphold the venue's standards, optimize revenue, and ensure exceptional service delivery. Key guest service areas include the bar, service floor, host/call center, amusement area, trophy case, feature attractions, and events. The Supervisor is tasked with addressing customer concerns, fostering staff development, and nurturing a culture of hospitality and positive team morale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of events and group bookings, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Adhere to and promote the venue's values, policies, and procedures.
  • Safeguard and enhance the venue's brand reputation.
  • Model and advocate for the company culture.
  • Manage the smooth operation of games, coat check, and retail areas.
  • Welcome guests upon arrival and promptly address any inquiries or issues.
  • Ensure all front-of-house staff maintain appropriate attire at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all front-of-house areas.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Provide high-quality service during all guest interactions.
  • Be available to resolve guest concerns using the venue's service model.
  • Strive to meet sales targets while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility.
  • Complete all required checklists in accordance with internal and external regulations.
  • Delegate tasks effectively among team members.
  • Conduct training and development for staff in designated areas.
  • Provide practical training for new hires and offer constructive feedback.
  • Implement gaming initiatives to drive financial performance while managing costs.
  • Maintain accurate payroll and attendance records.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the venue to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure all operational stations are fully equipped at the start and end of shifts.
  • Execute company programs and service standards consistently, providing feedback for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle any discrepancies immediately.
  • Adapt to changes in business levels while maintaining excellent guest service.
  • Comply with all health, food safety, and liquor service regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service, retail, or amusement sectors.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while adhering to relevant legislation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in customer service and team management.
  • Training experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of restaurant industry practices and techniques.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
