We are seeking a skilled Mover and Driver to join our team at Cargo Cabbie. As a trusted provider of moving services in Toronto, we prioritize a supportive work environment that fosters strong work ethics and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate cargo vans and cube trucks while adhering to all traffic laws.
  • Ensure safe and legal parking.
  • Pack and wrap furniture and household items carefully and properly for transport.
  • Load and unload items into moving trucks.
  • Basic furniture disassembly and reassembly.
  • Commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Available to work flexible shifts Monday to Saturday, and occasionally Sundays.
  • 30-40 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Experience driving an 18-24′ truck.
  • Full G license with a clean driving record.
  • Clean-cut appearance.
  • Experience working with hand tools.
  • Previous moving experience is an asset.
  • Physically fit – must be able to lift 75 lbs for extended periods of time.
  • Energetic and positive attitude; critical thinking skills.
  • A must: Friendly and professional customer service skills.
  • Interested in growing within our company.
  • No criminal record or convictions.
  • Smart phone with internet is an asset.
