Position Overview
We are looking for an Intermediate Experience Designer on a contract basis. Our organization comprises a diverse group of strategists, designers, engineers, and producers, all united by a common goal: to develop cutting-edge digital products, services, and experiences that drive client growth.
Role Responsibilities
In our collaborative and cross-functional teams, Experience Designers play a crucial role in crafting solutions that align with both client and agency objectives. As an Intermediate Experience Designer, you will spearhead and assist in the research and strategic planning of digital experiences, products, and services. Your collaboration with product designers, strategists, copywriters, and engineers will result in a variety of deliverables that clarify our vision, ranging from initial sketches to detailed prototypes.
Your expertise in UX, design, and branding, combined with a solid understanding of business frameworks, will be essential. You will facilitate workshops, engage in concept sprints, and contribute to presentations, ensuring your input is thoughtful and innovative, while also challenging conventional approaches.
Key Duties Include:
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of client needs, business goals, and project specifications.
- Supporting user and market research from inception to analysis.
- Engaging in ideation and planning for digital experiences, balancing traditional methods with innovative strategies.
- Leading the creation of personas, user journeys, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Facilitating stakeholder and customer interviews, as well as co-creation workshops.
- Exploring opportunities across content, interaction, and third-party technologies.
- Assisting in the development of product roadmaps and defining project scopes while considering feasibility, viability, and desirability within budget constraints.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in strategy roles within an agency or consultancy setting.
- A robust portfolio showcasing your skills, creativity, and expertise.
- Excellent communication abilities, with a knack for listening and presenting ideas effectively.
- Confidence in conducting interviews, presentations, and facilitating workshops.
- Experience in leading qualitative and quantitative research initiatives.
- Familiarity with UI patterns, design systems, and digital ecosystems.
- Knowledge of usability, accessibility, SEO, analytics, and A/B testing methodologies.
- A collaborative spirit, capable of building trust as a reliable team member focused on delivering outstanding results.
This role is hybrid, requiring some in-person collaboration. We welcome candidates who can work within specified hours.
