Role Overview

This position entails the development and execution of annual business strategies aimed at fostering growth and promoting the adoption of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) within the Information Software sector. The role involves leveraging Rockwell Automation's platforms for IoT, MES, Analytics, Augmented Reality, CMMS, and other related offerings. As a proactive individual, you will spearhead the Disciplined Outcome Based Sales Process within the designated territory, ensuring collaboration with the appropriate Delivery Partner for successful solution implementation across various industry sectors including Automotive, Food and Beverage, Water/Wastewater, Chemical, and Oil and Gas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Possess a robust understanding of Digital Transformation and the business drivers relevant to software.
  2. Plan and execute strategies for accelerated business growth, including setting targets and making necessary investments.
  3. Identify customer challenges and provide innovative solutions to meet their application needs.
  4. Manage complexities and adapt to evolving circumstances.
  5. Utilize CRM platforms effectively to monitor business performance and maintain an opportunity pipeline for the Information Software sector.
  6. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and effective communication, both written and verbal, including presentations to various audience sizes.
  7. Foster a collaborative mindset, working closely with Delivery Partners in a supportive environment.
  8. Collaborate with internal and external Sales and Product Specialist teams to achieve favorable customer outcomes.
  9. Administer and execute marketing initiatives for product launches and key projects.
  10. Analyze market conditions and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities through an annual business plan.
  11. Define and expand new markets for emerging product technologies.
  12. Accountable for the revenue performance of the Information Software business.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent combination of skills, experience, or education.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with Rockwell Automation products or comparable software solutions.
  3. Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team without direct management.
  4. Capable of overcoming objections and orchestrating creative solutions.
  5. Act as a domain expert in Information Software and related services, continuously enhancing technical and commercial knowledge.
  6. Demonstrate expertise in customer interactions, instilling confidence and credibility.
  7. Adaptable and eager to learn new products and technologies.
  8. Experience in outcome-based selling with an understanding of industrial business drivers.
  9. Valid Driver's License required.
  10. Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for training and events.
