Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and they leave satisfied.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, providing management with valuable insights into departmental performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.

Supervision:

1 to 2 people, with the potential to supervise 3-4 people in the future.
