Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage payroll reporting and payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Research and interpret regulatory requirements, resolving tax and withholding issues
- Respond to auditing and regulatory inquiries, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, ensuring efficient and accurate payroll processing
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with employment standards and labor laws
- Manage external audits, ensuring compliance with CRA, EHT, and Revenue QC regulations
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Professional designation (CPM, PCP, CGA, or CMA) is required
- Thorough knowledge of payroll regulations in various provinces across Canada
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Advanced degree in a human resource or business-related field
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with expertise in Excel
- Bilingual English/French proficiency
