We are seeking a seasoned Lawyer with strong corporate experience and cannabis expertise to join our client's dynamic team as a General Counsel or VP Legal. This is a unique opportunity to wear both business and legal hats while reporting to the CEO.

About the Role:

This is a true generalist role that provides the opportunity to work on a wide range of corporate and business matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate law and experience working in the cannabis industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to the CEO and other senior executives
  • Develop and implement corporate governance policies and procedures
  • Manage and oversee all legal matters related to the company's operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably in the cannabis industry
  • Strong understanding of corporate law and governance
