Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Initiatives Analyst to join our Wealth Management team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the design and execution of regulatory programs, including risk and control identification/assessment, change management, and operational risk reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of Regulatory Initiatives for Wealth Management and contribute to regular reporting efforts.
  • Support the Director of Regulatory Initiatives in managing new and ongoing projects, including Risk Conduct & Culture and other Wealth Management risk initiatives.
  • Participate in the development of project plans and assist in securing stakeholder buy-in for action plans.
  • Support targeted ad hoc reviews through planning, execution, reporting, and analysis of high-risk issues, focusing on risks and root causes.
  • Prepare reports as requested by management for senior executives, aiding in strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution, preferably in a program related to Business, Finance, Law, or Risk Management.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, challenging, and cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with multiple teams.
