Job Summary:

Emterra Group is seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Class 3 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting and processing waste and recyclables in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles
  • Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch teams
  • Carry out general safety practices and follow guidelines for safe load securement
  • Travel to and from bottle depots, collecting recycling and unloading full loads at drop-off locations
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve operational goals

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement and clean abstract
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably with experience operating B-trains, front-ends, roll-offs, body jobs, and dump trucks
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Flexibility with work shifts and ability to work overtime

Work Schedule:

Full-time: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 16:30 (with OT)

Part-time: Flexible working days between Monday to Friday, full shift days of 6:00am to 16:30
