We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our team.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency medical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Membership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) for family physicians
- Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) for specialists
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Current Certification in Emergency Medicine
