Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a well-stocked and organized kitchen
  • Take customers' orders and handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet customer needs
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Handle and store cleaning products and supplies in a safe and organized manner
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to meet customer demands
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a team environment
  • Reliability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
