Marketing, Communications & Media Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing, Communications & Media Assistant to join our team at Let's Talk Science | Parlons sciences. As a key member of our Marketing Communications team, you will play a vital role in supporting the coordination of marketing, communication, and media functions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Director, Marketing Communications, including project management, analytics monitoring, and outreach with external partners.
  • Support the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies, including social media and content creation.
  • Assist in the coordination of events, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing and communications metrics to inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in communications, marketing, and/or public relations.
  • Demonstrated competency with technology and computer/software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with and experience using social media as marketing and communications tools.
  • Experience with project management and monitoring, including work with external vendors and service providers.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
