Job Summary

CAE is seeking a highly skilled Simulator Technician to join our team at the CAE Toronto Aviation Training centre. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our flight simulators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily pre-training checks to ensure the simulator is in good working condition.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance tasks to maintain the simulator's performance and reliability.
  • Review discrepancies and determine appropriate action to clear discrepancy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform daily visual setup and calibration to ensure accurate simulation.
  • Brief / debrief flight crews on daily simulator status, providing clear and concise information.
  • Make customer-specific configuration changes to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Enter and keep current deficiency reports in database, ensuring accurate tracking and analysis.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in aviation maintenance and a keen eye for detail. You will be required to work rotating shifts and irregular hours to cover a 24hr/7day operation.
