We are seeking a skilled General Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in the Leukemia/Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Vancouver General Hospital.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of our program.
Responsibilities- Provide medical care to patients with leukemia and other hematologic malignancies
- Collaborate with our team of specialists, including attending physicians, fellows, and clinical associates
- Participate in the call and weekend schedule
- Meet credentialing requirements at BC Cancer and Vancouver General Hospital
- License to practice medicine in British Columbia
- Current certification with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of BC
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada
- Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities
