Food Service Manager

Join Dairy Queen as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a leadership role in our fast-paced kitchen environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless food preparation and service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met.
- Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
