Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Macro Engineering & Technology Inc. as a Machine Wiring Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and control panels in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Installation: Install electrical devices, such as proximity sensors, photoeyes, and pull cords, on machinery and equipment.
  • Conduit Installation: Select, bend, and install conduit, clips, trays, and other electrical components as required.
  • Wiring and Electrical Panel Building: Wire components in cabinets or on machines according to schematics and the Canadian Electrical Code.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot electrical systems and repair or replace faulty components as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean work environment and work in accordance with Health and Safety policies.
  • Inventory Management: Inform the stock keeper when consumable components are getting low in supply.
Requirements
  • Electrical License: Electrical license preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 40lbs.
  • Education and Experience: Relevant education and experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
