Auto Parts Delivery Driver Position

We are seeking a skilled Transportation and Logistics Professional to join our team at Auto Parts Authority. As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for operating and driving vehicles to transport goods to customers. Your duties will include loading vehicles with product in an efficient and organized manner, lifting and moving product up to 75 lbs, and driving the company vehicle in a courteous and safe manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring safe driving practices, performing morning inspections on vehicles, and communicating with Store Managers and Driver Supervisors to receive information and updates. Additionally, you will be required to check all load-related documentation to ensure it is complete and accurate, and ensure that all C.O.D orders are paid on delivery. To be successful in this role, you will need a valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract, knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas, and the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. You will also need to be able to prioritize tasks and have a high level of integrity and work ethic. This is a Full-Time position with a salary of $17.00 per hour, and benefits available after 3 months. The shift will be Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 6 PM, and every other Saturday 9:00 AM to 4 PM. There is also the possibility for advancement onto the parts counter if interested.
