We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Craftsman to join our team at Skyline Furniture. As an Upholstery Craftsman, you will be responsible for restoring and refinishing furniture to its original glory.
Key Responsibilities- Replace worn-out webbing, springs, and other furniture parts to ensure the longevity of our products.
- Lay out, cut, fabricate, and install upholstery to meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Tack, glue, or sew ornamental trim, braids, or buttons to add a touch of elegance to our furniture pieces.
- Repair furniture frames and refinish wood surfaces to restore their original beauty.
- Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create intricate designs and patterns.
- Garnish the bottom and back of a seat with interwoven rattan to add a touch of natural beauty.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in furniture restoration or upholstery.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
