**Job Summary**

As a key member of the GoSecure team, the Security Operations Specialist will play a critical role in the detection and remediation of security vulnerabilities using industry-leading technologies to ensure the security compliance of our managed customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Respond to client requests via tickets regarding their security vulnerabilities or deployments, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Advise customers on critical patch releases, offering options for deployment, mitigation, or risk acceptance.
  • Manage after-hours maintenance windows for deploying security fixes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and maintain client documentation to meet their service delivery needs.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Proficiency in software deployment tools such as SCCM, Shavlik, Bigfix, and others.
  • Experience in server infrastructure management, including operating systems like Microsoft Windows, RedHat, Mac OSX, and Ubuntu.
  • Knowledge of databases such as MSSQL and MySQL.
  • Experience with scripting languages like VB, Perl, Python, and others.
  • Comfortable working with systems using CLI only.
  • CCNA or equivalent networking skills are an asset.
