Job Title: DevOps Security Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is part of a dynamic security agile squad focused on Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) and cloud adoption. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating on-prem infrastructure processes to implement/enhance DLP controls, enhancing DevOps practices within the squad, managing a global DLP security infrastructure, and working with various security products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Automate on-prem infrastructure processes to implement/enhance DLP controls
  2. Enhance DevOps practices within the squad, including Infrastructure as Code, test automation, CI/CD, etc.
  3. Manage a global DLP security infrastructure and work with security products such as Symantec DLP, Splunk, Microsoft Information Protection, and Netskope
  4. Work with risk teams to understand and implement security requirements
  5. Handle operational escalations and manage production incidents during on-call support

Requirements:

  1. Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar
  2. DevOps skills, including Git, CI/CD Pipeline, and Test Automation
  3. OS Administration skills in Linux Enterprise Server and Windows Server
  4. Networking skills, including network configuration and debugging
  5. Security Practices skills, including knowledge of critical cyber security controls, authentication protocols, and encryption protocols
  6. Application Support experience on a Unix platform or Unix System administration experience

Preferred Skills:

  1. DLP skills, including Symantec DLP, Microsoft DLP, and Netskope DLP
  2. Orchestration skills, including Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes
  3. Database skills, including Oracle, MSSQL, and SQLite
  4. Data Handling skills, including Splunk, Microsoft Dynamics, Hive, and Archer

Professional Skills:

  1. Experience working within Agile teams
  2. Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL)
  3. Self-starter with proven experience in technical and application support of enterprise systems
  4. Ability to quickly learn and understand proprietary technologies in a complex, regulated environment
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach
