Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at BC Ltd. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with medication administration and documentation.
  • Participate in patient care planning and implementation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
Work Setting

This role will be based in a hospital or home for the aged setting.
