Job Summary

As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to residents of independent and semi-independent senior living communities. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting with daily activities, promoting resident well-being, and fostering a sense of community.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, mobility, and other essential needs, always respecting their autonomy and pace.
  • Maintain a clean and comfortable living environment for residents by assisting with light housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Respond promptly to resident requests and ensure their comfort and well-being are prioritized.
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to enhance their quality of life.
  • Collaborate with the care team to provide comprehensive support and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Healthcare Facility Assistance or Home Care Assistance, or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in French communication skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for working with seniors.
  • Excellent communication and active listening abilities.
  • Empathy, patience, respect, and discretion are essential qualities for this role.
