Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Chemistry team in Kelowna, British Columbia. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical and scientific results to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine testing duties within Chemistry and Hematology, including analyzer maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure sample identification is correct and specimen requirements are met according to established procedures.
  • Record, interpret, and/or approve test results.
  • Identify and report incidents and non-conformities.
Requirements
  • CSMLS Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
  • Solid ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. and perform duties in stationary standing/sitting positions.
