As a key member of the hospital's leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the division, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Pediatric Cardiology Division, ensuring alignment with the hospital's strategic objectives and goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, quality of care, and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of services and effective communication.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of healthcare professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver exceptional care.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial stewardship.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Represent the Pediatric Cardiology Division at hospital-wide meetings and committees, advocating for the needs and interests of patients and staff.

Requirements

  • Eligibility for licensure as a specialist in pediatrics or comparable qualifications.
  • Completion of a recognized training program in cardiology.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in a similar role or in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and quality of care.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
