Job Summary
Thales is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for conducting, coordinating, and assisting in the preparation, revision, and support of all supply support tasking for the AOPS and JSS Program.
Key Responsibilities
- Review vendor documentation and identify supply support requirements to ensure accurate and complete data.
- Support the LCMM team in determining required spares and spares quantities to support equipment by reviewing technical publications and usage data, as well as interacting with Thales' engineering, procurement, and service delivery personnel, Technical Authorities, or ship staff.
- Process and maintain Material Requirements Planning entitlements for all storerooms to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Support the LCMM team and Service Delivery in identifying the maintenance or spares required to support Short Work Periods or Docking work Periods.
- Support Engineering personnel with the development of Engineering Change proposals as they pertain to materials and material management.
- Support the AJISS Enterprise stakeholders by addressing spares queries as well as material-based problem reports in a timely manner.
Requirements
- An Engineering degree or two-year diploma from a recognized university or college (mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial, reliability naval engineering, or logistics) or certified as one of the following technical trades of the CAF: Marine Technician RQ-PO2, Weapons Engineer Technician RQ-PO2, Legacy QL 6A Marine Engineer, Legacy QL 6A Marine Electrician, Legacy QL 6A Hull Technician, Legacy QL 6A Naval Electronics Technician, or Legacy QL 6A Naval Weapons Technician.
- Five years or more experience within the last 10 years conducting Logistics Support Analysis in maintenance and supply support of complex systems or equipment.
