Job Title: Integrated Logistics Support Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support Specialist to provide day-to-day support to our Material Managers. The successful candidate will coordinate tasks with Life Cycle Material Managers and Supply Managers, ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Integrated Logistic Support Plans for our UAS fleets by maintaining the master logistics planning documents.
- Draft, manage, and process supply-related documentation in support of acquisition and inventory activities.
- Assist in the cataloguing and supply system administration of new and existing material.
- Plan and coordinate distribution, movement, and transfer of material.
- Facilitate specification, design, development, and acquisition of systems through the provision of ILS advice and expertise.
- Assist in the management of GFA and GFE, including the management of SCA and loan agreements/loan accounts.
- Assist in the monitoring, reporting, and transaction processing of material expenditures.
Requirements:
- Secret Level 2 security with PSPC (contract requirement)
- Previous Department of National Defence experience and knowledge/experience using DRMIS would be considered a strong asset.
- Ideal candidates: Supply Technician experience with the Canadian Forces
- Education requirements: Undergraduate or Post-Graduate level university degree in Management Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a field related to Logistics Support, or a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience within the last 7 years in at least 7 of the following assessment criteria:
- Maintaining Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP)
- Writing system design specifications and/or requirements statements, and consulting with stakeholders for ILS integration with other system functions.
- Designing Integrated Logistics Support Solutions to achieve supportability and sustainability requirements.
- Conducting Reliability & maintainability analyses
- Conducting System availability analyses
- Participating in Training Needs Analysis work
- Identifying Initial Support Packages, including calculation of requirements for spare parts, special tools, and documentation in response to system requirements
- Drafting correspondence and making recommendations on the acceptance or rejection of deliverables
- Preparing Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs)
- Conducting Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs)
