We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Design Professional to join our team at Kobayashi + Zedda Architects. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing buildings, developing plans, and overseeing construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop building designs and plans, taking into account budget constraints, materials, and construction schedules.
- Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements and specifications.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for use by contractors and tradespeople.
- Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses of building projects.
- Supervise technologists, technicians, and other architects to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project success.
- Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Strong knowledge of architectural software programs, including AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, and SketchUp.
- Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with commercial, institutional, and residential projects.
- Knowledge of urban planning and design principles.
- Fluency in English and/or other languages.
