About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at IRONBULL CONTRACTING INC. as a key member of our construction operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Budgeting and Estimating: Prepare and submit detailed construction project budget estimates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Subcontractor Management: Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors, ensuring timely completion of projects and maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Construction Scheduling: Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure project completion on time.
  • Contract Negotiation: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring that all construction projects meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure accurate construction and project completion.
  • Budget Planning and Management: Plan and manage budgets for construction projects, ensuring that expenses are aligned with project scope and company financial goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project progress, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that construction projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Newcomer and Refugee Support: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disaster, providing opportunities for employment and integration into the community.
  • Indigenous Community Support: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, promoting economic development and social inclusion.
  • Visible Minority Support: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Work Environment
