About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Heritage team at WSP in Canada. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary projects that contribute to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage projects from proposal to closure, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within budget.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage project costs, procure additional funding as needed, and track project progress.
  • Implement project financial and accounting processes, including DSO, variance, and project multipliers.
  • Develop and implement project support plans, including health and safety, quality, risk management, communication, and documentation.
  • Lead technical teams to deliver projects on schedule and budget, meeting technical requirements of clients, Indigenous organizations, and regulatory agencies.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and project teams to provide support and guidance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior project staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a large and diverse organization.
  • Interest in archaeology and cultural heritage, with experience working with Indigenous groups.
  • Superior project planning and organizational skills, with ability to lead diverse teams.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Adobe Acrobat Software.
  • Experience with Horizon Oracle or similar accounting systems is an asset.
  • Detail-conscious and result-oriented, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
