We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to lead our accounting department at the plant level. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger and key ERP interfaces budgeting
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements to inform business decisions
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Participate in monthly review of financial operating results with plant leadership team, focusing on driving profitability and growth

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience (3-5 years) as an Accounting Manager or Finance Manager in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
  • Professional accounting designation preferred
  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
  • Ability to display initiative and leadership when handling multiple job responsibilities, setting priorities, problem-solving, meeting deadlines, and driving process improvements
