Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and acknowledging every customer with respect and courtesy.
- Approach each interaction with appreciation and genuine care, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported.
- Pet Care and Advice
- Offer expert advice and guidance on pet care and nutrition, helping customers make informed decisions about their pets' health and well-being.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest pet industry standards and trends, ensuring that you are always equipped to provide the best possible advice and support.
- Store Operations
- Assist with operational processes, including maintaining inventory, completing floor moves, and processing transactions.
- Help implement strategic corporate initiatives and maintain a high level of professionalism and positive attitude in the workplace.
- Leadership and Development
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and positive attitude in the workplace, setting a positive example for colleagues.
- Recognize and reward successful performance, providing feedback and coaching to help colleagues achieve their goals.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
- Working knowledge of POS systems and ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and sales skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A valid driver's license may be required, depending on the location of the store.
