Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized accounting systems
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries accurately
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax filings
  • Compile trial balances
  • Reconcile financial accounts
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and QuickBooks
