Job Title: Accounting Specialist

QAG Chartered Professional Accountant Prof. Corp. is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to assist in the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, and other accounting records. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, procedures, and software, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and complete financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide support for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and software.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and software, including Tally ERP, Accounting software, MS Excel, Quick Books, MS Office, Xero, and Sage Accounting Software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certification in accounting, such as CPA or CMA.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work independently and as part of a team.
