About the Role

TD Asset Management Inc. is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. As a member of TD Bank Group, we are committed to delivering exceptional investment performance and client service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the team with activities including:
  2. Work with one of the following teams within TDAM - Fundamental Equities Research, Fixed Income or Asset Liability Management, Asset Allocation, Alternatives, or Investment Risk Management.
  3. Build and maintain analytics to help facilitate portfolio decision making and data analysis.
  4. Help run and support mission critical reporting used by the portfolio managers and attend and participate in team meetings and investment discussions.
  5. Validate data to ensure its integrity.
  6. Support projects focused on the ongoing improvement of processes.
  7. Undertake projects touching on strategy, marketing, business and product development, portfolio management, finance, risk, governance, client service, operations and trading.
Requirements
  1. Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
  2. Good foundation in business acumen, capital markets, problem solving skills and analytical capabilities.
  3. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  4. Strong verbal and written presentation skills.
  5. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  6. Highly motivated individual with the willingness and flexibility to take on different initiatives.
  7. Ability to operate within specialty software programs (e.g. Bloomberg, Factset, Thomson Reuters or Capital IQ).
  8. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across teams.
  9. Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
Preferred Skills
  1. Microsoft Access, Python/SQL/Coding skills, financial modelling.
  2. VBA and SQL.
  3. Co-op experience in investment research, real estate, public and private securities analysis, risk management.
