As a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at TalentTank Recruiting Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient movement of goods and materials within our manufacturing facility. Your primary duties will include:

  • Coordinating with the logistics department to ensure timely shipments and receipt of raw materials.
  • Ensuring all samples are collected and shipped materials have QA approval, in compliance with ISO policies.
  • Arranging transportation to and from the offsite warehouse as needed.
  • Monitoring silo levels with the production team to meet customer demands.
  • Loading finished products into bulk tankers and packaging products using automated systems.
  • Completing paperwork and labeling for shipments, ensuring timely shift reports.
  • Staging products, ensuring quality approval, and loading trucks and trailers per approved plans.
  • Operating lift trucks, dock loading platforms, and stretch wrappers; inspecting and fueling/charging equipment.
  • Training and developing new and existing employees.
  • Performing tasks such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing, unpacking, and general manual labor.
  • Identifying repair needs and assisting mechanics or electricians as necessary.
  • Recording statistics and performing cleanup duties at the end of each shift.
  • Providing courteous customer service in all interactions.
  • Maintaining accurate records for potential Ministry of Labour inquiries.
  • Performing additional duties as required.Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college diploma.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Training in WHMIS.
  • A valid Forklift license.
  • 3 years of experience with loading/unloading trailers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
