About the Role:

The Clinical Supervisor is a key member of our team, responsible for the supervision of RNs and RPNs who provide care and support to clients in the community. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support RNs and RPNs to ensure practices comply with legislated standards and company policies.
  • Respond to and resolve concerns from community staff, patients, and families.
  • Provide ongoing leadership through regular meetings and one-on-ones.
  • Initiate patient safety incident investigations and document findings.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to support clinical documentation and submission requirements.
  • Engage patients in problem-solving and provide health teaching and support.
  • Engage staff in problem-solving and provide education and coaching.

Requirements:

  • Current RN or RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a practicing Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse.
  • Comprehensive patient health assessment skills.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a team.
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and practice guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
