Job Title: Full Time Produce Clerk (Night Shift)

Department: Produce

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Full Time Produce Clerk to join our team at Fortinos. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, receiving and distributing merchandise, preparing produce for display, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in a courteous and professional manner
  • Receive, unload, and distribute merchandise to allocated sections as orders arrive
  • Prepare merchandise for display by trimming and packaging produce according to company standards
  • Fulfill, rotate, and maintain displays to ensure quality produce meets company standards
  • Follow guidelines as per the updated PEP Program (Produce Evaluation of Processes)
  • Assist customers with questions and maintain good customer relations
  • Maintain sanitation standards and safety procedures in accordance with company policy
  • Perform other general duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Minimum 2 years' produce experience in a retail environment
  • Flexibility to work over night shifts, including weekends
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with proven ability to delegate
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
