About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fruit Farm Laborer to join our team at S & S Sanghera Berry Farms Ltd. as a key member of our farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Management: Assist in the planting, cultivation, and irrigation of crops, including blueberries, cabbage, cauliflowers, cucumbers, and vegetables.
  • Harvesting and Handling: Participate in the harvesting of crops, including hand harvesting vegetables and seedlings, and assist in the cleaning and preparation of produce for market.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and other agricultural tools.
  • Quality Control: Examine produce for quality and readiness for market, and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
  • Worksite Environment: Work in a variety of environments, including outdoors, wet/damp, dusty, and hot conditions.
Work Environment

As a Fruit Farm Laborer, you will work in a fast-paced agricultural environment with a focus on producing high-quality crops. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to maintaining the health and productivity of our farm.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for the role.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks.
